Day 1-I was proud to work with the Orchard Park Tree Conservancy and students for OPCSD to carry on the tradition of planting trees each year near the OP Library and OP BR& P Depot, continuing to add beauty and environment benefits to the Town of Orchard park. Thank you Chestnut Ridge Nursery and Schichtel family for putting on an amazing program.
Day 2-Special thanks to Anna Worang-Zizzi for organizing the arbor day events at the depot and green lake. It was great to have members from the OPCSD destination imagination teams volunteering their time on a rainy day to assist with the planting. It’s been a pleasure serving on the tree conservancy committee with Marion Field since 2010, her commitment and knowledge is inspiring and a huge benefit to our community!
